This Victorian terrace dining room in North London was designed to create a formal yet intimate space within a long, open-plan layout. A circular dining table softens the linear proportions, improving flow and allowing flexible seating for six or more guests without feeling cramped. A restrained palette of warm neutrals and soft greens is layered with natural textures to add depth and quiet luxury, while considered lighting enhances atmosphere from day to night. The uninterrupted wall was transformed into a curated feature, anchoring the dining area and giving it a clear identity within the wider living space.
